Cool Julia stuff: Forever Hollywood

oldtomBorn and raised in Denver, Thomas C. Mavroudis is married and has a daughter. He received his B.A. in English from the University of Puget Sound, and his MFA from the University of California, Riverside-Palm Desert, where he studied under Stephen Graham Jones. At eight-years-old, Tom owned a pair of magic gloves that granted the wearer two magical feats a day. The gloves allowed Tom to preform superhuman feats of strength, stamina and agility. They were also good for achieving high spelling test scores. Four years later, Tom traded his magic gloves for a trench coat. But it wasn’t a trench coat; it was a beige fleece robe. He wore that to school only once.
